Flooring that changes how your space feels
Carpets, wood flooring and artificial grass can make a room feel warmer, quieter and far easier to live with day to day. We fit everything from deep pile Saxony carpets and durable twist styles for bedrooms and stairs to solid wood and engineered boards that bring lasting character and long-term value into your home. In busy parts of the house, we install practical surfaces that stand up well to muddy shoes, pets and constant footfall without losing their finish too quickly. We also lay sheet vinyl as a cost-effective, seamless option that is easy to maintain in kitchens and utility areas.
Outside, we create cleaner, greener spaces with artificial grass that removes the need for mowing or watering while remaining safe for children and pets, thanks to its non-toxic, soft surface. London Carpets & Flooring Ltd brings that full service with careful fitting and a proper eye for the finish, supported by free local estimates to help you plan with confidence. When you want a floor that looks right and works hard, we make sure the groundwork and installation are handled properly from the start.
Materials chosen for real homes and busy spaces
Our carpet ranges include plush textures such as Saxony and practical twist piles that suit bedrooms, lounges and staircases where comfort matters most. Underneath, we fit high-density PU foam and crumb rubber underlay that improves heat retention, adds cushioning underfoot, and reduces impact noise between floors. For kitchens, bathrooms and hallways, we lay LVT with a fully waterproof surface and strong resistance to scratches, stains, and daily wear.
If you prefer the look of timber with better stability, our engineered wood uses a cross-layered construction that copes well with changes in temperature and moisture, making it suitable for use with underfloor heating. London Carpets & Flooring Ltd helps you choose the option that suits how you actually use the space, not just how it looks on a sample board.

Our reviews
Thank you guys for your amazing job. We love the now look of our home Very pleased we have chosen this company to install our new beautiful floor (approximately 47m2 ) and a new carpet on the stairs. They are kind, professional and very quick. No messing around and handle all the furniture with extra care. Well recommended to anyone who’s looking for an ‘A class’ job from start to end .
London Carpet Fitters 10/10 from beginning to end. I ordered the carpet on Tuesday and was fitted by Thursday. The price was at least four times cheaper than Carpet Right and much better quality. For a little extra they will even collect the old carpet( you’re not allowed to take it to a council recycling centre)… this service is worth it. For a little extra charge they’ll even cut/shave the door so they fit. The fitting was just fantastic. You can’t go wrong with LCF … I would definitely recommend them and use them again. The Owner Harry is a friendly and very professional guy. Great job guys.
Why good preparation matters so much
A floor only performs well when the surface beneath it is properly prepared, and that is where many problems start if corners are cut. We handle screeding, plyboarding and damp proofing, including the use of suitable moisture barriers where needed, to help prevent uneven finishes, movement and premature wear. That preparation also helps your new flooring sit better, feel more stable underfoot and last longer in everyday use.
For artificial grass, proper groundwork and drainage layers allow water to pass through efficiently, helping avoid puddles and keeping outdoor areas usable throughout the year. It is the sort of detail you may not notice straight away, but it makes a clear difference over time. Get in touch to discuss requirements for flooring options.
